So, the pressure is finally off

After 10 months of working telecommuting jobs, most of which were for cheap assholes who refused to pay, I finally have an onsite job, as well as a from home job that pays.

For the first time in almost 2years, we finally have a feeling of security :)

Well... that deserves a big... WOOHOO!!:)
Congrats and good luck!

Well done, old chap.

I am sure Bree appreciates it a lot...until you turn into Vodwok at nights, that is. ;)

Oh and BTW, I wasn't blowing you off last month when you were asking about NC...I just live in a very FUCKED-UP town and I know everybody and I just didn't even want to get into WHERE I am, you know? Understand?:o

This is a fabulous state though. (except my HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE town)
If anyone so happens to get the good luck to live in central NC:
You have easy access to the beaches and then drive the other way for the breathtaking mountain regions.
There's also alot of people at HDC that live here, which, the cool factor of that alone .....;)

I'm not quite sure what you are referring to, but oddly enough, Bree said one of the things that drew her to me was that I remind her of Adam Sandler... Weird...

Not a problem, If people here dont get back to me on something, I assume they have a life :D

And we are moving to NC in 2 months regardless of our situation, even if we have to take out a loan.

The downside is that this job may go full time very quickly (there was talk yesterday of them skipping the contractor phase with me and going straight to permenant, the CIO was taken with my resume),

SO, it is possible in 2 months, I will be helping bree lily and my mother in law move to NC, then living in the cheapest place i can find up here so i can keep my swanky high paying job with benefits. That is going to be fucking hard.

there is an upside and a downside, and you definitely have to be organized and able to tell yourself, its not time to play, its time to work.

I have had days of taking care of a sick kid, followed by 9 hours of work starting at 7 pm, so its not all wine and roses. I'm kind of looking forward to talking to other people during the day :)

Southpark and working in my pjs is great, so is $50 an hour, but the high rate means shit when the clients decide they dont want to pay because they are over 1000 miles a way and know you would lose any profit from suing them in the cost to take them to court....
