And the battle is on...

This year, for the Emmy's, the following award is up for grabs:
Emmy Award for Outstanding Animated Program (For Programming One Hour Or More)

By the Blue Harvest episode of Family Guy (Star wars spoof) and South Park's Imagionationland trilogy.

Now,i used to be a pretty big Family Guy fan, I had all of the original episodes on my computer when it was first canceled, and still watched it pretty regularly when it was brought back.

However, South Park has always been ahead. it is way smarter and has much bigger balls. Needless to say, My vote goes to imagionationland.

if you havent seen them, go watch them before you vote. Dont be an uninformed voter (that goes for real voting too):

Imagionationland trilogy: (1 through 3)

So watch them if you havent seen them and cast a vote.

I also like both, but I vote South Park's Imagionationland Trilogy. Like you said Vod, they just have more balls.

I hate Family Guy and Star Wars, so I guess it's pointless giving the Blue Harvest a watch.

But Imagination Land was great, so Imagination Land.

I love Family guy and South Park but I have to give it to SouthPark.Imagination Land was Awesome.

I used to like South Park when it first came out but it's old now and doesn't really make me laugh. I like Family Guy in small doses anymore but I must admit that Blue Harvest was pretty funny.

Vod,

What happened to your little swordguy avatar? That's how I used to identify you.

Pls make him come back.

THX,
Chrono :p

And to actually post on topic, I haven't seen South Park's Imaginationland... And I thought Family Guys' Star Wars was totally overrated.

I love them both completely and they were both brilliant, but all in all, Imagination land had me laughing harder so I give it my vote.

South park is the greatest show on television. Not only is it incredibly offensive and outrageous and funny, each episode is intelligent and expresses a great outlook on real issues. The Emmy is long due.

South Park is brilliant. It is the only thing i have seen that has come close to actually offending me (the steve irwin scene in Hell on Earth 2006, and the repeated references to his death in Stanley's cup), not to mention the fact that it is filled with subtext, which is rare in movies, let alone a tv show.

I love that EVERYONE is fair game.
