Just wondering folks...
Do you think that say, a commercial "pepperspray" could be substituted with a mixture of habanero paste with just enough water to liquify it, chilli flakes and powder, black peppercorns, green peppercorns, xxhot chilli powder, sechuan pepper, and a touch of lemon juice, left together overnight, them blended up, strained, and loaded into some water pistols?

Just wondering is all.

I'm sure it will hurt but commercial pepper spray has at least one thing going for it and that's the dye that's added that can lead to an arrest. Also, a chemical based product is likely to have been formulated to stick around longer and burn more than a homemade concoction.

Agreed, as they're more extracts as well, yeah?
But...I'm still wondering if said concoction could temporarily fuck with someones eyes in a situation that the commercial product isn't available...
Trying it out on myself might be an idea, but I just really don't want to - I've felt what this stuff does to your mouth, I have to assume it's got nothing on the eyes.

Once that capsaicin gets in your eyes you'll have problems, BE CAREFUL. Ever cut a chili pepper and accidentally rubbed near your eye? Your super juice will be MUCH worse.

I try not to think....:D

As for your concoction, not sure about what it would do to your eyes, but it sounds like it would taste good. :p
