Strange Horror Movie Help
 

Newbie here so be gentle...



...There are two movies that I rented as a kid back in the 80's that I have been wanting to watch again but I cannot figure out the titles, perhaps someone here can help.

The first had a lady as the main character that was being stalked buy a killer that would murder his victims with a strange metal dagger like device that had a hose on the end that would drain the victims blood. I know, vague description, but that is all I have to go on.

The other, kind of reminded me of The Hills Have Eyes, only one of the monsters in the movie was a Bigfoot looking MF'er that at the end of the movie pops out of the woods and attacks the surviving characters killing them apparently.


Man, I hope someone can help, only saw these movies once, both over 20 years ago and have no other info to give, only my memories of being freaked out watching them. :mad: :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused:

Well, the second movie sounds like "Mother's Day," which does have a shock ending of a hairy killer popping up (a trampoline gag, I think they did) literally out of the woods, leaping into the air and then freeze framing...

Thanks for that lead crabapple! I looked on youtube and they actually have Mothers Day on there and that is not it, close though. I am almost positive about the Bigfoot looking monster.

I don't see why people bother. The movies are never as good as you remember them as a kid. First one sounds familiar though. I'll try to figure it out.

True, probably will seem that way, still, the curiosity has been nagging at me for some time now.


The first one I described, the one with the dagger like medical device, with the surgical tube on the end for draining blood, is the one I want to figure out the most.

was the movie from the 70s or 80s? cause you said you rented it in the 80s.

Nope its not that.

It could be Night of the Demon but the Big foot apes in moret han just the end of it. Shriek of the Mutialted is another guess but neither of these are very Hills have eyes.
