I can usually find anything - but i'm not having any luck with this.

I'm looking for the song 'Nightmare" that plays during the end credits of A Nightmare on Elm st.

(it has vocals - it's a song - not part of the score)

it isnt included on the soundtrack.

the name of the band is a number - like 642 or something like that.


anyone have an MP3 of this ?

it would be wicked if someone had it.

Try the P2P program Soulseek. It runs a bit fucked up with XP till you tweek a few settings but its got a bunch of offbeat stuff like that on it.

There was a link to a horror soundtracks blog somewhere on here that might have it.

I cant find it on the newsgroups and i dont use torrents

I have a program on my comp that will turn anything coming through the speakers into an mp3....is it the full song at the end of NOES.....if so I can see if I can turn it into an mp3 for you and email it out.

that would be great as a last resort - but i'm hoping there is a proper MP3 out there ... reason being is that it sounds really rough during the movie itself ..
really under produced.

we may have to go that way and i'll appreciate it no matter what - but in my research i remember seeing things that led me to believe a good version of the song exists out there somewhere.

I found it on youtube about 15 mins after you posted this thread, Dave.

Got a link to download the MP3 too...unfortunately it was a trojan which completely fucked up my comp. Had to do some real flushing out using a variety of programs to get it working again.
