Requiem For A Dream

So... Not located in the horror section, yet still one of the most horrifying films you will ever see. It breaks my heart every time, incredibly saddening.

Spoilers!
Which character did you feel the most pity for in the end?
Least pity?

I felt the worst for Marion. Seeing her give herself up to men like that was horrible, and the end where she just... curls up, like she knows it'll keep happening... wow.

I didn't feel very bad for Marlon's character. He was dumb, he paid the price. The others had to cope, alone, in their own minds, which can be smaller than any jail cell.

still havent seen it yet.

certain films - that i know well ahead of time will be depressing are tough for me to watch - i need to be in the right place for it.

(it took me years to see Schindlers List.

so because of this i havent been ready to watch either Requiem, or Grave of the Fireflies yet.

If I watch it, i'm usually doing something else so I don't get the full force of it. The first few minutes aren't bad, but then it just spirals out of control... It's intense.
