The award for the worst actor in a horror film ....

goes to Bruce Payne. in any film he's in.
hands down the most overconfident scenery chewing ham i've ever seen in horror. maybe a decent directer would know how to put this to a better use .. i dunno.
All i can say is that if his name is in the credits, i avoid the film.
(my apologies if he's a nice guy in real life)

runner up - the supernaturally lucky Christopher Lambert.
he's managed to find work in some decent films ... he has an interesting look .. but his woodenness makes Keanu Reeves look like Bugs Bunny.

who else ?

(sorry if this has been done before .. i've been away :) )

Maybe it's just becausae I watched this film last night, but Jason Ryan Lovett in "Resurrection Mary" was so awful it was unbelievable. It was like the director told him to look sad because that's the expression he uses throughout the movie. A sad little puppy dog look and his lines are delivered with a dead, wooden quality that just kills everything.

Oddly enough, there are four entirely different films named Resurrection Mary made since 2002.
