Ils (THEM)
I just watched Ils (aka, in English, THEM).
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...nBnXkFtZTc.jpg This was an incredibly well-done home invasion/slasher film. Good use of light dark, and suspense. The US trailer can be found here. Has anyone else seen this film? This honestly would make it into my Top 10 List of 2007 and I highly recommend it, especially if you're looking for a good suspenseful film. I give it an A-/A My boyfriend gives is a B+/A- Definitely check it out when you get a chance. That was the hardest I've gripped my poor boyfriend's hand in a long time... while watching a movie. ;) |

i've had this on my shelf for a while - it came highly recommended when i got it ...

This has been in my Netflix queue since it came out, but it had a wait. Should be getting it later this week now. It has 4 1/2 stars on Netflix which is impressive.

Well, I definitely recommend seeing the original Romanian film. Also - I'm a HUGE fan of home invasion films and watching this movie reminded that I'm not sure that I've even seen very many in the genre. My top Home Invasion Films:
What other horrific home invasion films are there out there? There's The Strangers, which is still pending (and I'm ridiculously excited about), but what about stuff that's already been released? What would you guys characterize and suggest in that genre? |
