I've always dug Tom Waits a actor ever since I saw him in Bram Stocker's Dracula and Down By Law.
Iggy was great in Dead Man and Crybaby
Gene Simmons is a pretty decent villain especially in Wanted: Dead Or Alive

Wendy O. Williams (RIP :( ) was fuckin' dope in Reform School Girls

Johnny Depp moved to LA with plans of being a musician...

Alice Cooper, Iggy Pop, Tom Waits, and Kris Kristofferson too. I'm sure I could think of more but there's a few good ones.

Alice Cooper was creepy as fuck in Prince Of Darkness.... pretty cool how he got to be Freddy's dad :D

Oh, and Marky Mark, I guess you can't forget him.

If we're counting rappers, then Ice Cube and Mos Def are both good actors.

David Bowie in Man Who Fell to Earth and many other roles.

Marky Mark is the first one I think of.

Ice Cube for sure, don't think I've seen Mos Def in anything......

Ice T had some pretty good roles in New Jack City, Surviving The Game and Ricochet
