My first post and I'm already asking for help.
 

Hey everyone, my name is Paul and I'm big movie fan. I graduated from film school last May and am currently employed as an unemployed film scribe. I'm trying to change that.

I've been attempting to break into the business by posting my videos on YouTube and entering online video contests. I found a website that lists new contests as they pop up and one recently caught my eye: a contest to pitch a new idea for a horror movie.

I've been plotting away at a script for a pseudo zombie flick called Hellward Bound for a few years now and I've entered that idea into the contest on Massify. I don't want to come off like the only reason I joined the forum is to advertise my pitch, because even if my film isn't chosen to actually be produced (which is the prize), I plan to get it made one way or the other and I'll be asking you guys to help me out and critique my work as I go.

sock thing was pretty awful - funny idea, but the acting was soooo bad it was hard to get any sense of it (writing seemed stiff as well)

Who's acting was bad? The sock's or the man's? Because that is the best damn sock acting I have ever seen!
