Abandoned

I poked through, and I didn't see any threads regarding this film.

I know some of you have seen this one as part of the 07 Horror FIlm collection. I really enjoyed this film. It started out kind of iffy, but picked up into a very surreal very creppy film. Anyone else have any thoughts?

it wasn't bad. certainly worth a watch (and it had to be the best of the 2007 afterdark horrorfest movies). however, i kind of thought it was a little too "psychological" for its own good. towards the end, it almost stopped making any sense.

there were definitely some really creepy visuals though. i loved the doppelgängers. they were pretty horrifying.

Creepy visuals, musty atmosphere and an abandoned house. Not much to not like about a movie with that kind of realm. My only gripe is that part of the way through the movie, nothing really made sense after it. Maybe it did, and I was just thinking too hard, but neither of the other two people I watched it with got it either.

So we all agree then.

The creepines and atmosphere worked.

After the first hour it started going downhill and the ending felt rushed and sucky.

But all in all one of the better horror movies of 07. :)

You could say that.

That's what I thought too, except I thought that some of the psychological elements were pretty good. I kind of thought it was a little too predictable. However, "thirty Helens agree..." kinda thing (Kids in the Hall)
