I had a taste of Never Back Down in the form of the official trailer and I think I can guess the recipe.

Take equal parts UFC and Fight Club mix them together with three parts of The O.C. and bake for three hours in an MTV brand oven.

Frankenfish = Large slices of Jaws, Alligator and Lake Placid, with a shot of Piranha...fried on a low flame and slowly simmered into a big dish of cheesy entertainment.

Be Kind Rewind

Take a bit of originality. Add a touch of Ghostbusters, a pinch of Boyz in the Hood, a bit of Driving Mrs. Daisy and crush it all together with some LSD and there you go.

Scream

Bring equal parts Lassie, Leave it to Beaver, and Night of the Living Dead to a rolling boil. Season to taste with dashes of social satire making sure not to forget dashes related to sexual deviancy, racism, slavery, big business, and government. Let rest for five minutes and serve Fido piping hot to anybody who loves black comedies.
