Who misses Joe Bob Briggs?

I do, I do!! Drive-In Theater. Monstervision. Great stuff showcasing some awesome, as well as terrible, films. I wish he'd come back to late night tv.

I love John Bloom and intend to pick up his new book in the near future. My favorite Joe Bob moment was one night while showing Billy Jack on Drive-in Theater, he did a phone interview with the man himself, Tom Laughlin. As anyone who grew up in the south can testify, Billy Jack is a HUGE moment in exploitation history. It was one of my favorite moments of TV, EVER!!!!!

This also brings to mind a great tagline; from The Master Gunfighter with Tom Laughlin and Ron O'neil: "Billy Jack Vs. Superfly!"

My favorite JBB's moment came during Face-Off. He popped on the screen and I was like "Joe Bob, Joe Bob!" No one knew what the hell I was talking about.

Billy Jack...my mom LOVES this movie. I myself would have to go with Superfly on that match. Yeah, that's right...He's my pusherman.

Yeah, I have to admit, I miss him, too...

I need a hanky for this one. Monstervision was the best, even better than Up All Night with Rhonda (Whatever her lastname was). Joe Bob was a good time.

Light a candle.

Yeah, I wish he'd be back on TV. I recently saw him do a reading from his book 'Profoundly Disturbing' very entertaining!
