Shock/exploitation disturbing film festival
 

I'm trying to gather a few more titles to go in my disturbing, desensitizing film festival.

So far I have Men Behind the Sun and Meatball Machines.


Does anyone have more titles to go along with those? They can be asian horror or from another country but mainly shocking. You know things that will make an average person uncomfortable.

Already looking to add the story of ricky.

These are fairly grisly ...

Guinea Pig
Tetsuo:The Iron Man
Suicide Club

I would also recommend Oldboy which has much greater depth than the above movies but does at times make for uncomfortable viewing.

Thanks for the reply. I already passed on Tetsuo in favor of another bio-mechanical horror flick, Meatball Machines. I own Oldboy and love that flick, it's a total mind fuck.

Going to look into Guinea Pig and Suicide Club however.

Awesome replies. Already watched cannibal holocaust, an absolute classic in this genre. Thanks for the huge list of titles. I'm a bit surprised to see Evil Dead1/2 on that list. Maybe it's because of the tree rape.

I think I've settled on Audition, Gozu and Visitor Q for my additions. I haven't seen enough Miike. Thanks to all who helped. Love gore.

If it is a disturbing list you are making than Miike should be your number 1 director.

Ichii The Killer is a nice one too, its just plain fucked in the head, has some pretty decent gore, and has the Japanese perversion to it.
