Overrated films
 

What films do you guys think are way too overrated?

Underworld, Was hoping for the fouth of july and got a STINK BOMB!! It was ok but I think they could have done better.

the Evil Dead series.

the entire LOTR series (altho the first one was good)
Hellraiser series
Wes Craven's Movies lol

the beyond (although that chick getting capped in the face is one of my all time favorites)
blade 2 (donnie yen went out like a bitch)
Star wars Episodes I & II (though im sure III will blow too)
The Fisher King

Not to get off subject, but American films haven't been using Donnie Yen's full potential. He was bad-ass in that last (and shitty) Highlander movie too and he got killed off way too easily.

Oh, and I love it when Pippie Longstocking gets capped in the head in The Beyond too.

yeah i dont know maybe they just dont know who he is. maybe they havent seen all 10,000 kung fu movies hes starred in (note the sarcasm). thats the only reason i can see for such wasted talent.

i think that the ring is highly over rated.

I think it's just that America isn't familiar with him. I think they cast him mainly for the kung-fu fanboys (like myself). I'm giving him a couple more years, he might be the next crossover star.
