...or, at least that's what I think it's called.
First up, no offence intended here to anyone - what I want to do, I acknowledge is completely immature, but in no way do I wish to make fun of a serious illness. I saw a guy the other day, had this doohicky that he held onto his throat, and it made him able to speak, he had an injury or had some kind've operation perhaps? I understand some people who have/do have throat cancer get these. They sound like a robot when they talk. So...I want one. Can you buy them without a condition that makes them a requirement? You don't need some kind've implant for them to work do you? How much would I be looking at? Anyone? ...it's just, I thought of incorporating it into a halloween kinda getup...that, and well, drunken fun. Again, not to make fun of those that NEED them, not in any way my intention here, I would just love to sound, something like a 70's cylon too. |
im pretty sure it works without a tracheotomy (sp?), but im not sure you can buy it unless youve had the operation.

Ha, so I'll have to take up smoking?
It's either that or asking the guy to have a look at his...hey now, what's that there? can I see? Hey, Lemme hold it...I'll uh, be right back... |
