What's the best band name ever? And they can suck but still have a good name.

My favorite band name would be And You Will Know Us by the Trail of the Dead.

Runner-up: Soul Asylum.

Worst band name: Korn.

Most comical band names would be The Assponies, Fugde Tunnel, and Lesbian Peanut Butter.

Best: cradle of filth, nine inch nails, tool, black label society


worst: linkin park, limp bizkit


most comical: butthole surfers, moldy peaches

Just thought of another good one: Alabama Thunder Pussy.

trail of dead, good choice avenger00! i think they even write it '...and you will know us by the trail of dead' -- f*cking hell, alright! guess they're pretty badass too. others i've liked:

- mercury rev
- ween
- motorhead (how could anyone not like that name)
- black sabbath (and that one!)

ahh crap i forgot 'comets on fire' as well.

interesting/catchy/comical names: Nashville Pussy, Anal Cunt, Prosthetic Cunt.. Ha Ha

Worst names: Limp Bizkit (I dont understand this), Blue Oyster Cult, New Kids on the Block, Eve Six....

Names I love: Bestial Warlust, Mortician, Impaler, Cannibal Corpse...

along the metal front, what are them brazilians called, they have a good name... ah sepultura isn't it, something like that

Eve 6 sucks, but I believe they got their band name from one of the cooler X-files episodes. And half of Nashville Pussy is from my hometown, and of course they have a great band name.

The name Blue Oyster Cult always reminded me of that gay bar in the Police Academy movies.
