Hello all. I am Macabre Maiden, the newbie. I only wished to introduce myself and put aside that dreaded "first" post of using a new forum.

I guess I'm supposed to make a couple of personal comments. I'm from Ontario, Canada. My mother, an eccentric ex-hippie from the city, moved herself to a small town where I was born and raised. Her avid interest in all things macabre was put on me at a very young age.

Freddy Kruegar is my ultimate favourite villian, to the point of obsession! I love Bela Lugosi and collect old Universal Monster Movies. When it comes to television, give me the Addams Family. Not the new ones, however, Carolyn Jones and John Austin are the true Gomez and Morticia.
