Awesome, for me, not you.
 

Well I'm not sure if any of you would care, but I thought I'd share it anyway. My school had try-outs for the Improvisation Team on Tuesday and I found out yesterday I was one of the 6 people who made it on (out of the 20 or so that had shown up) I got the most laughs. This, the Tech Crew (Making the props and backdrops for the play), and my Creative Writing class are by far my favorite parts of my school.

Hopefully the Improv. Team gets to do things this year. Last year there weren't many people there, so I said "Nevermind" and left the tryouts, but this year there were a lot of people and I actually got in. Made my week, maybe my month.

Awesome. Improv team and Tech Crew were my two favourite parts of Highschool! I really hope you like your team mates more than I did though.

2 of my best friends made it onto the Improv team too, so that's groovy. The Tech Crew is nothing but my friends.

Lucky, I liked the people on my improv team for the most part. As people they were cool but we were a 50/50 split of girls and guys and the other girls just never got my jokes and would never just go with it.

Tech Crew wasn't all that fun sometimes either. My design was chosen for the backdrop when we did the play "Fame!" and this other girl didn't like that she wasn't getting the attention so she treated me like crap and degraded me all the time even though I was the leader and whatnot.

I'm cool with everybody on the Improv team that I know of. There's 8 people (6 chosen, the two that started it) I've known all of them at least since I started High School, some even longer, except the 2 girls who are on the team because they're girls, one was funny, the other one is just, for a lack of a better word, annoying, we were playing "Bus Stop" and she just told me I looked like Michael Myers and went on describing the movie in a really annoying voice. (The 5th time I'd gotten a "Dude, you look Michael Myers" that day)

But the Tech Crew, it's just amazingly awesome. The play fell on St. Patrick's Day the previous school year, 3 of the kids got drunk, 1 handled it well, 1 slept in the loft, the other got alcohol poisoning. The one that got alcohol poisoning, at first he just stumbled around the hallway with a drunk look, then he started with the slurs "Lauren, I'm gonna make you suck my dick!" then a friend and I sat in a car with him, he leaned over and threw up in the middle of the parking lot before the play, so he's drunk as hell throwing up as the parents are arriving, we moved him to the back of this girl's truck. She said that she didn't want any part in it and if we didn't take him off she was just gonna floor it and see what happened. Then we got someone to take him home, the play proceeded. After the weekend the story was told to me of after he got dropped off, his parents took him to the hospital, he had to get a cathider, and he shit himself. Fucking crazy weekend.

Those were my favorite classes in school too. Congrats- hope you have a great time, and don't forget to learn something.
