movie that really, truly terrified you
 

i was just wondering:

what is a movie that really, honestly terrified you and why?

i watched "funny games" for the first time around eight years ago, and it really shook me up badly. i guess just the coldness of the characters, probably also the fact that i was only 13.

so what about the rest of you?

The Village and Basic Instinct. Left me stunned and recovery took weeks.

What about Showgirls?

Laughed in the end. At myself.

And then went insane for a year.

I'm sure the actors did the same...

Anyone that willingly had any part in the making of that film had to be a little off to begin with.....:rolleyes:

Showgirls isn't all bad.It has some really nice eye candy!

there is 3 movies, one is killer clowns from outerspace, it terrified me, and i will never watch it again. The second is the ring, this movie had me sleeping with the lights on for 3 months and at night when i was sleeping or not using the tv, it had me so parinoid and uneasy i would put a towel or sheet over it, and if the tv ever went to a channel with the static screen and white noise i would flip out, panic and turn off the tv scared to put it back on. so yes im a parinoid person. lol
