i think i was about 3 or 4, and the first movie i ever saw was nightmare on elm street. what's weird about this, is that i was living on a street called elm street at the time.

Invasion of the body snatchers *original* gave me nightmares for weeks I think I was like 4 or 5

First

I was 4 when my father took me to see THE INCREDIBLE MELTING MAN. Don't ask me why he did such a thing -- some might say it was a classic case of bad parenting -- but I think I just have a really cool dad. :)

In any event, I haven't been the same since.

Not long after that, when I was 5 or so, my parents took me to the drive-in (remember those?) to see the original HALLOWEEN.

My God, it scared the hell out of me. But I loved it. And now it's one of my favorite horror films of all time.

House on Haunted Hill and the Three Skulls of Jonathan Drake are the two I remember seeing as a kid. House on Haunted Hill is still great... but I recently saw the Three Skulls again and it sucked.

I remember watching 'The Evil Dead' with my brother when we were home alone. I must have been 6 or 7 years old.
