The good, the bad & the ugly

Here are a bunch of movies.

They're either good, bad or just plain ugly, you decide.

Final destination trilogy
Nightbreed
Wes Craven's New Nightmare
The Manson Family
Bram Stoker's Dracula

Haven't seen New Nightmare, actually. The rest are hideous, with the exception of Bram Stoker's Dracula which looks beautiful...as long as you have it on mute.

i kinda liked nightbreed

thought new nightmare had a good idea but wasn't well executed

I have Nightbreed....it's one of those movies that could have been SO much better with a little more funding and planning.....if they remade it, I wouldn't be upset at all.....

I love Nightbreed, I think its a lot of fun, but I am not fooling myself into thinking its a masterpiece or anything. ;) But I do think it is a tad underrated. Yes, I said it.....and I mean it. :p
Bram Stoker's Dracula I really liked, but some bad casting choices hurt it a bit.
New Nightmare was refreshing when compared to the other sequels. Again, I enjoyed it.
The Final Destination movies are also just a lot of fun.
Never seen the other one.

Basically, I must have no taste, and can enjoy just about any film.....:D

Ditto. Maybe it was because I read Cabal first, but it could have really been something.

I liked Nightbreed and even the first two Final Destinations (haven't seen the third yet), the others are bad & ugly.

Hey! :D I didn't like Saw or the Halloween remake so I must have some.....:p

And for those that like those films, I am not implying that you have no taste with this post, you see the crap that I like, so yeah.......;)

Anyway, I have read Cabal several times, its one of my favorite Barker stories. I just don't expect the same thing from films that I expect from reading a good story. I seperate the two pretty good (except for The Shining, of course, which I like okay but still bitch about on a regular basis). Yes, it could have been better, but Cronenberg was great, and its just a fun monster movie that worked for me.

Nightbreed is great. I like fantasy themed horror, combined with the twisted genius of Clive Barker it makes for an interesting ride.

On the whole I like pretty much all Barker's films, well...with the exception of Rawhead Rex.
