i always liked this format; been doing it on livejournal for a little over a year now and recently on my space; some people humored me, but i felt this would be a better place as people could share opinions/recs as well as hopefully spawn some interesting discussion and analysis on the film.

glad you enjoyed the effort; shows the effort does not go unwasted amungst my own. i'm looking to make this a monthly thing so hopefully others will enjoy participating as well;)

i've seen some of your list, but could you please tell me what hardboiled and lonely hearts was; never herd of them:D

Hard Boiled is one of John Woo's best movies. IMO

You can read about it here---->http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0104684/

Lonely Hearts was a little seen movie starring John Travolta and James Gandolfini based on the true story of the "Lonely Hearts Killers"------->http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0441774/
