Texas Chainsaw Massssssacre the Beginning
 

Last night I saw this movie. I thought like with every other horror movie I've seen there'd be at least 1 person that survives. I'm not complaining that no one escaped alive, cuz I don't recall that I've ever seen a movie with not even 1 survivor. What I didn't get was the end. This girl was running from leatherface. She ran downstairs, started the car & sped down the highway. Leatherface of course was going after her. I think he even looked out the window. What I don't get is when she went on down the road, leatherface popped up from the backseat with the chainsaw. Now unless he was like some kind of magician, then that would be imposssible. Which we all know he's not a magician. I even went back & watched it again. What I saw the second time was just as I had seen it the first. Ruined the whole movie for me. Anyone care to explain this? Or do I need to watch it for a 3rd time?

Well for one, you should of known nobody would be a "Survivor", as this movie was a Prequel. If someone would of survived, then this film wouldn't of been a prequel. If I can remember correctly, I think he looked at the car correct ? (I haven't seen it in awhile) That is the meat factory where he worked, he probley could navigate through that place with his eyes closed. As he knew a short-cut to get to the car, he knew that that was her escape route.

You should of probley but this in the Modern Movie Section. I hope this helps you out.

Whats in YOUR basket?

I actually liked this one better than the remake.....until the ending. I thought it was just dumb, and no it didn't make any sense. Not to me anyway. For one thing, he is so big and not exactly the most graceful guy in the world. Anyway I hated the ending, and thought they could have done a much better job there. They even had a better idea, that made more sense, but said it was too "cliched".......when I think the one they actually used was also a bit of a cliche AND also didn't fit with what was going on there. So I agree, and it kind of ruined it for me as well.

There had to be a way for him to sneak in or something because I remember saying "You know he's gonna pop up in the backseat"...
