Is it scary? I just rented it. It sounds pretty frightening

I remember it being kinda lame.

not scary...but i thinks its okey...many people hate it I dont...

i thought it was boring..but thats me :rolleyes:

I had fun with this film, but I remember when Roeper had a lady guest host on and she described a scene as seeming like a Scooby-Doo episode when Depp dons a black cloak and sneeks into a black mass/ orgy. She nailed it with that comparison. It did seem like some dumb Scooby-Doo episode... But The Ninth Gate has a great opening credit intro, and I liked the mystery aspect of the tale. It's a fun ride full of interesting and creepy characters... And I liked then end...sort of...

I loved the music in that movie.

i fell asleep about half way through and never finished the rest it

it ain't scary but it is a good watch. how come you wanna know if you've already rented it? either way these posts are gonna spoil it for you. you'll either have unfulfilled expectations or you'll start the movie anticipating a sack of shit.:confused:

Not scary but very good if you watch it in the right frame of mind.
It takes most of it's plotline from those old 1970 satan films.
I loved it.

i thought it was okay cause of depp and lena olin but its not really up to much
