dragon ball z: the movie
 

yes i know that dragon ball z has many movies but they are now making a live action movie. its supposed to be in pre-production right now. roland emmerich (stargate, universal soldier) is set to direct the film and tedi sarafian (terminator 3) is supposed to be writting. i hope that they don't make this movie and screw it all up.

I heard a little about this, all I know is it's comming out the summer of 2005. Is it live action, animated, what?

I think I'm still going to see it, I'll probably be the oldest person there. :p

This will either be totally awesome or the worst movie all year.

okay, the effects will be cool, no question about that, but it will be a dumb movie
most people like dbz not only for the story, but for the cool drawings, you don't get that in a live action movie

plus, it'll be a star wars episode 1 movie, you know, the whole movie will be played in front of a huige blue screen
think of the landscapes of namek and kamis lookout, you can't rebuild stuff like that or find it in irleand like lord of the rings

and...who the fuck is gonna play vegeta!!!????
no one can pull that one of, I swear, his voice, his character
and picolo will either be a gollum like animated thing or a human with lots of make up

I dunno, it sounds to me as they just wanna make money out of the dbz scene
I love dbz, and I will watch the movie, but I don't think I'll like it

the picture of the poster i saw was just a head shot of piccolo. he looked pretty cool, a little like yoda but cool none the less.

And who is going to be the enemy? Frieza would kick ass, but not the gay american Frieza. The Japanese one was badass.

well heres the "cast." fight over it if you want.

Goku- was hugh jackman (wolverine) but was apparently fired

vegeta- Ray Park aka darth maul aka toad (x-men) aka never said a line in one of his movies.

Raditz- jason bateman whos gonna be in starsky and hutch also, but never done anything huge

tien-orlando bloom aka legolas (the elf in the lord of the rings with the long blond hair)

bulma- jessica alba also in honey

chi chi-eliza dushku (wrong turn, faith from buffy

nappa- goldberg

the cast is ok, i think the best person to play vegeta would be MAYBE jet li, but not someone who probably doesn't know how to act. i could see goldberg being nappa. i can't think of anyone to play gohan or krillin though.

And don't you think hugh jackman would make a better Vegeta than Goku?

It just seems to fit better to me.

I feel like a pre-pubescent child again taking about all this DBZ.:D
