I've seen haloween 3 recently. I personally don't understand why they took a left turn and ditched Michael and went with robots and things like that. I wasn't a bad movie but, I think they should have given it a different title. It shure wasn't a haloween movie.

The original idea was to have movies where the common factor was Halloween, not Michael Myers. They confused people when they released part 2, since it was a continuation of the first one. So actually the third one just went along with the original concept, and I personally would have liked to see them continue it. I like a couple of the sequels, but still think it would have been better to end the Myers storyline with the first one. And I like Halloween 3, it has been unfairly trashed just because it wasn't what people were expecting.

Near Dark is one of the best vampire movies ever made, in my opinion, despite the trite ending and Black Christmas is also a great movie that doesn't get enough recognition. The others I even haven't seen, or I personally didn't care for.
