Mark of Kri?

I know it's kinda old now (I think it is anyways), but has anyone played this PS2 game?
I got out a bunch of demos from a while back and played a video of this...I have to say that at a glance it looks slightly reminiscant of god of war...in that there seems to be attack combo-prompts and what looks like fairly solid combat.
So...any input on this one?

Think a really bloody, disney game. It doesn't really play like God Of War as much as something like Tomb Raider. It's ok for the first few levels, but it gets repetitive. You can pick it up fairly cheap, so if you don't own it, go ahead and grab it. I got my copy about 2-3 years ago and it was only $9.99 back then.

Hm...might be worth a look then...but...disney kinda stuff, dunno how I am on that, but if it's as cheap as that I canjust palm it off in my little brother if I don't personally like it, usually younger guys (he's...like 15?) are less judgemental on the gaming factor...

I also wanna buy E.O.E which always looked really cool to me.

I remember the combat being very interesting in that one. I don't think it plays like Tomb Raider really, maybe the running and jumping stuff but it's more of a beat em' up really. I think it made an interesting attempt to create a good system to fight against a group, Rise to Honor made strides in that department as well (one uses button presses and the other the right analog stick in an almost Robotron-like manner). I didn't really like Eve of Extinction... if that's the E.O.E. you're talking about heh.

The basic structure of find this, find that and the exploration and lack of actual fun combat made it more like Tomb Raider to me. It does have some stealth elements to it also.

As far as E.O.E. (Eve Of Extinction), I own this as well. It's decent, kind of a Fighting Force with a more explorable enviroment type of game. It's fun for a little bit, but don't expect it to last. Pick it up cheap if you pick it up at all.

The combat was the best part though. Sure it got a little old, like every beat em' up ever created, but the unique set up made it a blast. It had far, far less exploration and puzzle elements than Tomb Raider. Anyway, it's worth picking up cheap and the sequel wasn't too shoddy either.

Looking through the birds eyes was pretty cool.

I never played the sequel. Is it worth picking up?

Really just more of the same with a female character added to it. If you liked Kri and can get Rise of the Kasai (spelling) cheap I'd say go for it.

I really liked the game, the stealth was well implemented.

Combat, was well thought out and quite original.

The Storyline was kinda slow, but it was a good game so it was quite forgiveable .

Graphically, it was kinda disney, but it was also quite dark and the stealth kills were quite violent and very undisney like.

I would say the gave borrows from some other games, but it only borrows ideas, then redo's them in a whole new way.

And if you do like that one, it is worth getting the second one aswell.
