am i being ripped off?

i use a website to order my dvds. it isn't my first choice site so i don't use too often but when i have done i've been slightly suspicious. the wrapping seems amateurish, some of the inlay covers are a little blurred and the covers don't have a certificate on them. also, the dvds themselves don't seem authentic. the images are again, not clear. am i being over zealous? do some companies produce slightly poorer boxes. i have to be honest and say that about half are obviously legit. has this happened to any of you? thanks guys

yeah whats the website?

Chances are you probably did get bootlegs, it happens

Whether you were ripped off or not depends on your perception...

Were these DVDs unobtainable any other way?...Were they shows/movies that were never released on DVD?...Did you pay a fair price?

Basically, if you feel that you got what you paid for, and that it was worth it...You may have gotten bootlegged copies, but you didn't get ripped off

On the other hand...If the product was NOT worth the price you paid...Or if it was advertised as 'NOT bootleg'...Then yeah, you pretty much got ripped off

Sounds like you are getting bootlegs. Happened to me on e-bay.....ordered "new copy" of "CREEP" and received a bootleg. Sure it had decent artwork but the last 5 minutes refused to play on all of my DVD players....had to watch it on the computer.....eh.....live & learn.

I bought a bootleg of something from someone on Ebay to. I cant rember what movie it was but the picture they had was one of those pictures of movie covers you see on diffrent websites.
When it got here the cover smeared and it looked like it was filmed with a home video camera.

That was a few years ago, I still email the guy every once in a while an curse him when I get boared.
