Zombies.....Do they poop? I mean, if their organs don't function (I'm sure they don't) what happens to everything they eat? Does it just slip out, or do they fill up until their stomachs explode or what?

What do you guys think?

Hmm...But, if their stomaches got full and exploded, that wouldn't kill them, so I guess then their bodies would fill up until THEY exploded...So...Uhh...How come we don't see any exploded zombies?...They DO eat a lot...Right?

I'm rather sure they eat out of a non-stop desire to fill the void (life & vitality) that can no longer be filled. So they will eat until their stomach bursts and the consumed flesh distends their stomachs. The outer flesh will tear as well and the flesh they've eaten will spill out in a decomposing slug trail behind them...and they will continue to feed.:eek:

But no poop - no functioning internal organs other than the brain.

At least that's how the Romero zombie mythos and the Zombie Survival Guide plays out

I'd like to see the slug trail thing played out in a movie, that would be kinda cool.

Yeah...Why don't we ever see any of them expelling any of this masticated, rotted flesh?

they may use all that they eat and produce no waste everything is used or could loose waste through skin but thats an organ too but so are eyes so those work right

HMM...Why DO their eyes and ears work, if no other organs do?...That's a really good question...

Maybe they don't work. Maybe zombies just have a sixth sense.

They don't really even THINK...They just run on instinct like animals; ie: eat, reproduce, survive...And I don't think they're even CONSCIOUSLY reproducing, or aware that it happens when they attack someone...So, do you think that their rotted brains would REALLY be capable of anything 'extrasensory'?

I'm pretty sure they just shit their pants on a regular basis.


Or at least that's what i've heard. :)
