Shrek's window of hipness closed a couple of years ago. And the release date? They're screwed coming out in between Spidey3 and Pirates 3. My kids aren't even excited about this one.

Then again, Shrek 2 is the 3rd highest grossing film in the US, and I think 7th worldwide.

Hell, don't count out the Shrek. Might just surprise Spider-man peeps.
As for the "my kids aren't even excited about this one"...I know my kids are very excited about it, not sure about the rest though.

Shrek was great when it came out. Being the big child that I am I can watch it again and again. The 2nd I thought worked well, just as funny, icing on the cake and im hoping for a cherry on top with the realise of the 3rd.

It probably wont do as well due to the realise date but that doesnt say its not gonna be good.
