...but I never heard of it before I caught it on cable last night, around midnight. It's called THE DEVIL WITHIN HER, and it came out in 1975.

It stars Joan Collins as the new mom of a baby boy possessed by the demonic curse of a hunchbacked, dancing dwarf. It's like a cross between Rosemary's Baby and The Leprechaun. It's laugh out loud funny! I must add it to my collection of bad horror movies.

It was on "Flix" channel, if anyone's interested in looking for it.

Great movie! Lots of cool Swinging London ambiance. Didn't the nun have an awful accent?

Someone gave the film to me last Christmas in a Brit Horror boxed set of three Region 2 DVDs. Its title on that release was The Monster.

The other DVDs in the set were Hands of the Ripper, which I haven't gotten around to yet, and the Uncanny, which is a great anthology with cats involved in each segment.

I don't think i've seen that!! there was one on tv last night on the scifi channel. i think it was called CHILD OF DARKNESS CHILD OF LIGHT. i fell asleep half through and that really sucks cause it was looking pretty good.

Oh, yes. The whole swinging seventies thing was great, too -- the music was bordering on 'porn soundtrack', wasn't it? And yeah, loved the nun's accent.

The Uncanny is the movie with cats? I love cats and I love horror -- sounds purr-fect! (Sorry, couldn't resist).

The Devil Within Her isn't going to be on Flix again until Jan. 27, sometime in the middle of the night, depending on your time zone.
