Identify Film: Man Addicted to High Voltage Shock
 

Can anyone help to identify this film that I saw on TV about 30 years ago:

I never saw the end of the movie, but the story is about a man undergoing conditioning to withstand high electric voltage in a laboratory. I vaguely recall a montage of the man being exposed to larger and larger currents. Eventually, he starts to need electricity to live.

My memory is fuzzy on weather the film is color or black and white. I don't beleive that it was a new film when I saw it; it was probably a sunday afternoon horror feature, which were typically at least several years old.
