help with a movie
 

if anyone could help with a movie title thanks. it was on a late night horror show in st. paul back in the mid 70s on tv. anyway the scene i remember is someone was being held in a house and some weird guy brought them something to eat on a dinner plate. when they lifted the plate it was a dead rat. thats about all i remember. thanks

Are you sure it wasn't a woman who brought the dead rat? Because the scene, besides the fact that the antagonist was a woman (Bette Davis) instead of a man, describes What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? (1962) perfectly.
