BoooYeah! Freedom!

Guess what folks?

I am a free man today. :) No more 90 minute commutes. No more 11 hours away from my family daily, and installs after hours. No more frustratingly sittingon my ass for days on end because NO work was being sent my way. I had an 11:30 meeting with my boss and an employee for the contracting comapny i was working for, and now, I am at home, looking for work :)

It was all on good terms, and they apparently noticed that i had completely checked out over a month ago. Now, i am looking for telecommuting jobs, plus I will be writing more, and working on my business.

AndI get to see my wife and daughter ALL DAY, not just a little in the morning and a little at night.

Way to take command of your life. Now, about that favor...

Seriously, Vod, keep us updated. Let people know ways in which they can help. You know? I hope that you get something super keen, and I believe that you can with your smarts. I'm sure that Bree and Lily are thrilled.

Good Job! That's a major step and I'm really happy for you.

I actually was, kind of. BAsically, my job was support, whihc i could not be less interested in. My former boss would have kept me as a developer, because I am damn good at it, but alas he had no developer positions available. At any rate, my contract would have expired in a couple of weeks anyway.

Now i am free to fnd a full time devloper position. Its exciting :)
