Solaris with George Clooney

I'm really into movies involving a decent into madness, someone recommended it to me and I just wanted to see what you guys thought of it.

I bought it cheap and havent watched it yet...would like to see the original first.

nooo watch it now so I know if I should rent it. :D

Hopefully someone has seen it on here.

I've caught bits and pieces but it has never really caught my attention.I will try and give it a run.

I watched it on cable and.......IMO.....It was SUCKY. ;)

I really wanted to like this movie, and then I ended up sleeping over it (something I almost never do) when I rented it...

Solaris was great! It makes you think a bit, which is always a good thing.

I highly reccomend seeing the original and the Clooney remake as companion films. They are a bit slow, but they're good, solid films.

You don't necessarily need to see the original first, but you owe it to yourself to see one if you see the other. If that made sense.

I'll have to rent it and probably the original.

I don't know, I hired it when it was overnight rental and fell asleep halway through and never saw the end, so , I just don't know.
