now if we could only apply that kind of focus and research into something constructive, like eliminating greenhouse gasses or developing a proper substitute for the internal combustion engine.

I'm sure it's more fun for developers to create weapons. I don't think there are enough R&D people who would enjoy fixing the world enough to provide a great solution. It's easier to destroy than to create. Although, they are saving the lives of these out of control people who would, 10 years ago, just be shot.

i kinda wanna get shot by it.....
