Special effects is one way to go. Take some 3d art courses, or if you have any talent with your hands, there is always a need for practical effects.

Line Producer - this is possibly the hardest job in movies, but it can be fun as well. It's not to be confused with other producorial positions, as this job is all about keeping a film rolling. It is a heavy-duty problem solving position that requires knowledge of all aspects of filmmaking.

You can't just start off as a line producer, you'll have to be a set PA (Production Assistant) first and work your way up to this position over several years.

Art Department PA
is an awesome entry level position. It's all about painting, building and dressing sets. Horrible hours and pay, but great experience. Once you land an on-set job, you should be able to get more and more...but that first one can be tricky.

Assistant Director is another high-stress, problem solving gig that can be fun. The AD has to get talent on the set, make the cast and crew call sheets for each day and generally know where everyone is at all times.

The DP is the camera operator. The Cinematographer works closely with the DP and the Director to shape the color pallate of the film. The Director tells the DP what angles he wants and the DP makes it happen.

It is a highly technical job that requires a film school background.

Work in horror movies and be a maggot wrangler, that sounds fun.

Actually, with your love of Riki-Oh you should try special effects. Bring back the real gore none of that CGI crap!
