Does anyone have a dvr?
 

I just got new digital cable and I have a dvr box for the first time ever. Now that I'm used to it I don't think that I would ever be able to live without it again. I haven't watched a commercial all week and I have about 8 movies already recorded and ready to watch when I please. It's great. Do you guys use this or Tivo?

I use the new David Hasselhoff model.

Your cable company can usually upgrade your normal box to a DVR box for $10-$15 a month.

Mine is costing 7.95, so I guess that's a good deal. How much does a Tivo system run? Does anyone know offhand?

So you have to pay $250 up front and then $15 a month? What's so much better about that as compared to the DVR that I have?
