Korean Death/Black Metal?!
Somehow this just shocks me...I guess I just never imagined it...But, apparently there are quite a few Korean metal bands:eek: ...I mean, come on...ASIAN METAL?
It just seems strange to me...It makes me wonder if there are Cambodian metal bands...or Iraqi metal bands...Or even MEXICAN death/black metal...Know what I mean? Anyway...If you're curious about what a Korean black/death metal band might look and sound like...Dustin LOVES these guys (it's weird...their music sounds a LOT like the stuff that Dustin plays) : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bXocUhiXQNM AND they have a MYSPACE page...This whole thing just seems so odd to me... http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm...ndID=107267114 |
Thanks for that it made my night!
Brujeria are a fuckin' rad mexican metal band. http://brujeria.hit.bg/brujefiles/machetazos.jpg Its crazy where music come out of. I've got a bunch of really great punk bands from places like Columbia, Alemania and even Peru :D The 80s Japanese punk scene was one of the most influential, especially on metal (it practically invented Grindcore and Thrash). |
not bad ' not bad but still nothing compared to deicide or cannibal corpse

There are quite a few East Asian metal bands actually, it's just that most of them aren't that well known. Sigh and Boris are particularly good.

not really 'metal' but The Boredoms are a really interesting Japanese band
