Slither and See No Evil
 

These two weren't bad for what they were. They both had some great moments.

The guy who wrote and directed Slither also wrote "Tromeo and Juliet" a great Troma movie. Tromeo and Juliet is filled with alot of great cheesy gore.

just watched Tromeo And Juliet today. its pretty good. but absolutely nothing can EVER compare to Toxic Avenger IV.

I liked Slither...cringe and laugh-worthy.
That, and I think that Nathan Fillion is pretty well suited to this type of film.
It felt oldskool, kinda creepshow-ish. No problems really, it was good, not great, and I can't help but feel as though it ended pretty abruptly.
Worth a watch, for sure.

The other one, I can't comment on. That's the Kane one hm?

Yep. I didn't know who Kane was till I read the box. Don't worry, he doesn't really have to act. There's some nice gore in it, it has some jump moments (I love jump moments) the actors are nice to look at. It's better than most of the garbage that direct to dvd.

How much do I like jump moments? I've seen the original Carrie at least 10 times, and you know what's coming when Amy Irving is at the gravesite, yet it gets me every time.

You should check out Jane Jensen.net (she was Juliet) She's recorded some pretty good albums. Comic Book Whore, Burner and an ep titled Jane Jensen and the Dolls. It has a great song "Blowjob Barbie". Yeah, I know it's rude, but it is a great song.

i own troneo and juliet and i personally think its fucking terrible. one of the worst movies i own. I fucking love slither tho.

It's not suppose to be good. It's suppose to be campy, like every other Troma video or Reefer Madness.

i own the txie box set, cannibal the muscial, class of nuke em high, redneck zombies, chopper chicks in zombie town, terror firmer, killer condom to name of few of the troma films in my collection. All the aforementioned films have redeeming qualities. tromeo and juliet is just utter shit in my books.
