Looking for B/C Movies

Straight-to-video and Indie horror flicks have become a recent obsession of mine. I don't know what it is about them, but I usually end up really enjoying every one of them I see... so I ask you, what are some good STV horror movies that fit my interests?

LIKES; traditional effects, left up to your imagination monsters, gore-fests, well-used budgets, cinematography, and unknown actors.

HATES; porn trying to pass off as horror, bad editing (ie - ANYTHING Sami Miami), high school student flicks, and read-and-say-acting.

I enjoyed... The Toybox, Heartstopper, Dead & Breakfast, Head Space, and Boy Eats Girl.

I hated... Fear of Clowns, and Dark Field.

Heck...go back to the eighties. Always dependable era for straight to video horror. Neon Maniacs would be a great start. It may have been briefly released in some areas, but basically it's a videotape and cable TV movie. Doesn't exactly fit your likes/dislikes list but I have always found this to be a charming piece of trash nonsense.

check out Brett Kelly's My Dead Girlfriend
or The Stink of Flesh (cant remember the director)

both nice little indie efforts.

I'll look into those three :)
I just rented The Nun after hearing good things from Rube's review thread.

Give Satan's Little Helper a go. I didn't expect much when I rented it, but was pleasantly surprised.

Also try The Dead Hate the Living. Tiny from House of 1000 Corpses/The Devil's Rejects is in it, but he's the only recognizable face. I don't remember how I stumbled on this little gem, but I'm glad I did.

stink of flesh was ok... it kinda turned into a kinky sex-fest with some nasty chick instead of a zombie movie though, action died off almost completely. But the action that was there, i will admit it was very well done. plus the terrible ending also hurt it quite a bit.
The director definelty has potential to make a very good film.
