The Hitcher

The remake is coming up soon (see Upcoming Movie forum), so I thought I would rent the original and check it out. Is it worth the watch? It seems to think of itself as a classic, and the premise looks interesting... but does the hype live up? I'm not going to bother with the remake, because that looks shitastical.

The Hitcher has suspence,a few thrills and alot of action.
It's not horror, but still a must see flick.

I'm picking it up tonight. :) I guess I should avoid the sequel, right?

Actually, I didn't think the sequel was that bad. Come to think of it...I quite liked it.

As for the remake, I'm not a big fan of them in general (although The Hills Have Eyes impressed me), but I will probably go see this one because Sean Bean is in it. I think he's a great actor, and he isn't too hard on the eyes either. I know that's not the best reason to go see a movie, a remake no less, but I have my character flaws just like everyone else.:D

The Hitcher 2 (I've Been Waiting)is a fair flick.

Kari Wuhrer looks great in this film.:D
