Tell Me THIS Wasn't Paid For By PETA

I was kinda hoping the story would go in a different direction...

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals

They're extremists. They do things like go to McDonald's and show children with hamburger happymeals slaughtered cows and such. Sorry, I like to eat animals, they fill my belly and taste great at the same time.

PETA U.S. activists protest Burberry’s store in New York City and cover the windows in red paint to protest the retailer’s use of fur.

Somebody covered my windows with paint I'd be knocking their vegan asses around with a baseball bat (no offense to all vegans, just these clowns).

hahaha awesome

I demand a feature film based on that short story. :D

with a new, bloodier ending where the turkey hunts down the man's wife and kids.

Haven't watched the attatched video, but thought I'd throw in about the topic in general...
I'm down with animal rights activists, and those who strive to prevent cruelty, mistreatment, and negligence of animals, those that want to preserve natural habitat, and those that make sure all animals (inclusive of those intended for market sale) are treated, and fed well...but there's a right way to do everything, and fanaticism is not it, in fact more often than not it only serves as a backward step to those that do things the right way...makes others take the cause less seriously, IMO, doesn't do anyone any favours.

That's just rude and distasteful. People like this think that their p.o.v is the be all and end all, and it's disgusting, and stupid. Sure, traumatise a child...you've proved your point:rolleyes: A persons lifestyle is their choice...and frankly, at this point in our evolution, the majority of the human race has become accustomed to the consumption of flesh...actually to the point that if one were to stop, the majority of the time, they end up having iron defficiencies due to our systems being used to processing things in a different way.
Vegitarianism...being vegan...whatever, let those that choose that lifestyle, choose that lifestyle, and not push it upon others (can you imagine the offence if you tried to make one of these nutcases eat meat?)...it's unfortunate that a lot of times that if people like this think things should be a certain way, they trample the rights and desires of others.
I lean towards predominately vegitarian myself...but I know a thing or two about nutrition, enough to know that my current intake is healthy.
The whole "lets try and stop the meat trade" thing is simply a waste of time. It's NOT going to happen, time would be better spent by these organisations on things that they can, or will change, not wasted on a cause that isnt worthy in the first place. Sure, I sympathise with cows...lamb, chickens, whatever, but not enough to feel guilty about playing an absolutely tiny part in what's become tradition LONG ago in the stages of our evolution...
PETA isn't an entirely "bad" organisation from the things I've heard, but I think they need to perhaps have a few slightly unstable people removed from the top ranks, and start having a bit more a careful look at who they enlist...the setting of certain ground rules of operation wouldn't go astray either.
