Stuck Up People
 

This is why I hate myspace, you try being friendly, and people are stuck up. Check this out:

Me: You seem like a pretty cool person from your profile.
Them: i know am pretty cool. i would say the same but your private..

I get that a lot, and people telling me how much better they are.

Myspace can die!

from previous posts, you seem fairly bitter about myspace, yet apparently you still use it. in fact, I think we are friends on there.

I have no problem with myspace, but I no longer add people that I don't know or have some connection with (especially goddam bands).

Same here so many bands try to add as many people as they can and at first I would just add them but now I deleted all of them except the bands I know and like and will deny any more requests. I use it for the soul purpose of keeping in touch with old friends.

I'm actually in the process of closing it. I just don't want to close it before I get some of the peoples email addresses that I talk to on there regularly. I went from 260 friends down to like 88 I think. So I'm almost there.

Ya'll do know you can block band requests? :confused:

I didn't know that, but that is awesome. I wouldn't do it, b/c I actually have listened to some of the bands who request me to add them and, believe it or not, thought they were decent. I also get a request every now and then from a band that I am friends with but didn't think they had a myspace account.

as Nikkif8 said, about 99% of what I use myspace for is to keep up with old friends who live in far away places.

the other 1% is to ogle chicks.

LMAO! I actually just met a girl on there that I asked out. Other than for rare instances like that, I pretty much find it an annoyance with all of the, "Your on my friends list, if you don't comment my pics I'm going to delete you" kind of crap. Annoying it is.

went in once on an invite...looked around and left straight away..
watch a bunch of whiny bitches,,especially those who have been on there for awhile...whom think that myspace was made just for them..'rolls eyes'
