An American Haunting

I just watched An American Haunting. Yes, I know, I'm late and there is probrably another topic on the subject. Anyway, I was disapointed with this movie. It dragged along and didn't have Andrew Jackson in it like the real story plays out.
Also, it made the story sound more like a father molesting his daughter and not a ghost story. I guess the director couldn't keep his opinion of the truth out of the movie. It was sick and I wish i hadn't watched it.

I've mentioned it before, that if this movie had stayed true to its source material.......it might have been a REAL CLASSIC. Instead, it's a six-beer yock-fest. A real shame. I really wanted it to be good.

Like the Thunderbirds movie...the filmmakers are so intent on coming up with their clever little variation that they fail to see that the original source material is a perfect blueprint...
