good news!
 

(Posted this in the filmmaker's forum, but had to share it with all of you)

I just got good news and I have to share it! (especially since I've been hitting everyone's voice mail)

My manager called me to say a certain production company (no names until the ink dries ) wants to make my horror movie! The script is the coolest thing I've written - and I've written 23 features thus far - and I'm dying to see it brought to life. This will be my second real film!

Very excited, trying to keep it cool, gonna get drunk:p

Yay!!! We all have to A). Go and see it first hand. B). Give Rod our encouraging honest thoughts after our viewing and C). Buy the DVD so as to support our Rod, and say to our friends when they file in, "This film was written by a friend o' mine. Calls himself by the name of Roderick Usher. You know, like the main character from "The Fall of the House of Usher. Great story wasn't it? Yeah, I thought so too, but anyway, file into my media room for a screening. You'll love it. Giant Squids? Maybe. Maybe not. Wait and see. It'll be a real scream."

Congratulations, Master Usher!!! The cool thing is that you're still young and have plenty of time to create more masterpieces or a masterpiece that truly is rivetting (don't we love that word?). Glad to know ye!

My other movie DAMNED will be starring Samantha Mathis (American Psycho, Pump up the Volume) and we start shooting in a couple of weeks!
