Lars von Trier Takes on Horror Next

Director Lars von Trier has announced his next project, which is called Antichrist, reports Production Weekly. He is expected to shoot the horror film next summer.

The English language movie is set in nature and based on the theory that it was Satan, not God, who created the world.

Von Trier has directed such films as Dancer in the Dark, Dogville and Manderlay.

I will deffinetly be seeing this one.

This one's been around for centuries, mostly a perverted attempt to lump everything paganistic into the judeo-christian symbol of "Satan."

I used to bring up this sort of thing in religion class in my Catholic H.S. all the time. Pissed of the nuns something fierce.

The concept and theory behind it is really interesting to me. That alone will warrent a watch. Just to see what they make of it, and what the people say about it. Being sacrelgious and all.
