Does anybody remember a movie where a television eats a guy? The only thing I can remember about it is this guy talking to the T.V., and there was nothing on the screen but a big mouth talking to him. Then he got too close, and the t.v. ate him and then spit bones and blood all around the room.

The second one that's bugging me is a movie I watched on late night when I was about fourteen, about a prison that was possessed or something. I remember one guy was caught on fire in his cell and was burning up, and another guy was trying to escape in a duct or something, and pipes and wires started attacking him. There were people in the cafeteria and he fell through the ceiling and he was just a big mass of guts and gross stuff.
Anybody have a clue? Thanks in advance.

1st one sounds like "Videodrome," the 2nd one sounds like "Prison"

Yes!!! The second one is definately Prison, but I looked up Videodrome and it didn't sound familiar.....is there a scene in that movie with someone being chewed up and spit out by a T.V.? I think I'm going to buy it regardless....it sounds great.

not so much eaten as he goes into the tv which goes bang....expelling guts out of the screen

The specific scene I remember is there is a huge mouth on the screen, talking to the guy. Just lips and teeth. The guy gets a little too close....I think maybe he put his hand on the screen, and then CHOMP, the t.v. starts eating him up.....it pulls him all the way in, and then spits bones and blood all over the room. Did the t.v. in Videodrome have a mouth and talk to the guy before eating him?

I don't think that's it, the one I'm looking for was newer.....but now I HAVE to have Videodrome. That was an awesome clip!!!

Okay, so I watched Videodrome and it wasn't the right movie....I think the guy who was eaten by the TV in the movie I'm thinking of was a black dude. It might have had something to do with voodoo, I seem to remember a scary little shrunken something with glowing eyes dressed in a black veil.....
Any thoughts?
