Help can anyone help me find the horror that scared me witless as a child???

i was really young when i remember catching a glimpse of this film as my dad hired it from the vide shop it may have been over 15 years ago,

The image that i remember is that a clown or monster or something was inside a tv and kept on kidnapping/killing people when they watched the tv....

being that i was so young that is all i can remember (and the sleepless nights)

If anyone has seen any movies that they think it could be i would really appreciate the heads up

cheers!!!

Try putting a turnip or locust on your head or in your ear or something, and shouting about anti-freeze.
